Spring Reading List

Since the new year began I have been trying to read 2 books every month and so far this goal has been going great! I have always been a really slow reader so in order for me to meet my monthly goal I like to include shorter poetry books or short self-help or spiritual type of books that are easy to get through. I think that people who don't enjoy reading are either crazy (just kidding, kind of) or they're reading books they don't love. When it comes to finding the right books to read, you really need to know what you love and what you don't love because life is way too short to read boring books. The types of books I love to read are poetry books, books on spirituality and the meaning of life, mystery murder fiction novels, dystopian novels, and novels of everyday fictional characters lives and struggles. Here is a list of books I'd love to get through this spring and continuing on throughout the year. Enjoy!

1. The Dogs I Have Kissed by Trista Mateer
2. A House at the Bottom of a Lake
3. Wanderlost by Jen Malone
4. Light Is the New Black by Rebecca Campbell
5. How to Stop Time by Matt Haig
6. The Day is Ready for You by Alison Malee
7. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
8. Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell
9. A Thousand Mornings by Mary Oliver
10. Life After Life and Reflections on Life After Life by Raymond A. Moody Jr.

What books are on your must read list this spring? Happy Sunday!
