30 Ways to Handle Stress


       Feeling super stressed and overwhelmed with life lately? I feel you girl. Life can get so crazy but I have to remind myself that slowing down, being grateful, and getting a new perspective on things is just what I need to turn my day around.  This can be easier said than done so I put together a list of 30 small and easy things you can do to turn a bad day into a great day.

1. Make a list of all the important things that you care about in your life
2. Download some new music
3. Listen to an inspirational or uplifting podcast (Ted Talks are my favourite)
4. Read your favourite book or a new one in your favourite genre
5. Rearrange your furniture and decor to make your house feel fresh
6. Spend some time on Pinterest or We Heart It for inspiration
7. Go outisde and get some fresh air and quiet time
8. Take a small road trip or a staycation in your city
9. Buy a new plant and spend some time re-potting it into your favourite pot
10. Light some candles and just chill
11. Take a long bath with essential oils and candles
12. Have a spa night by yourself or with a friend
13. Do some yoga, my favourite on YouTube is Adriene
14. Get a massage or give yourself one
15. Find a new blog to read, i suggest checking out Blog Lovin
16. Watch your favourite Youtubers
17. Watch your favourite movie
18. Hangout with a dog or cat for a few hours
19. Set some goals for yourself, dream big and have fun with it!
20. Plan out your dream vacation
21. Make a dream board, there are so many different ways to do this
22. Change your hair
23. Exercise outside or sign up for a fitness class you've never tried
24. Cook a meal or bake a new recipe
25. Go for a long drive and listen to your favourite music
26. FaceTime your mom
27. Grab a latte and go window shopping
28. Go to bed really early and sleep the stress off
29. Turn on some music really loud and clean your house
30. Meditate and remember that life comes in waves and that the stress will pass
